Losing a child is every parent’s worst nightmare. A Republican super PAC turned that nightmare into a multi-million dollar attack ad, one that twists the facts and exploits a father’s pain for political gain.
While the White House scandal has dominated the headlines, a lot of legislation moved through the North Carolina General Assembly. And a couple of the most consequential bills could end up being Senate Bill 50 and House Bill 5– Republican-sponsored permitless carry bills.
Gun sales surged immediately after SB41 became law. The month before SB41 went into effect saw 2,016 handgun sales in the state – and the month after there were 52,532 handgun sales.
Less than two weeks after the Parkland shooting, Mark Robinson called survivor David Hogg and others “spoiled, angry, know it all CHILDREN,” “spoiled little bastards,” and “media prosti-tots” who need to “shut up.”
