Trump’s Department of Homeland Security is a direct threat to public safety. For the second time this month, federal agents have murdered an unarmed American citizen in the streets of Minneapolis. Just two months ago, we saw these same untrained, lawless agents attack North Carolinians.

Right now, the United States Senate is considering a bill that will determine the future of funding for DHS, ICE, and the rest of Trump’s deportation agenda. No agency that shoots civilians, abducts children, and threatens communities should be allowed to continue operating as usual.
